  • Click any section header (INCOME, EXPENSES) to collapse or expand the group.
  • Green values = income / positive; red = expense overrun or negative.
  • Missing line items mean no QB transactions were posted to that account in the period.
4

Balance Sheet

Point-in-time snapshot of assets (green), liabilities (amber), and equity. Date filters let you compare across periods. Use All Time for current position; YTD for end-of-year position.

5

Cash Flow Statement

ActivityCovers
OperatingCollections, payments, payroll
InvestingAsset purchases and sales

The Net Change in Cash row shows whether the period was cash-generative or cash-consuming. The chart displays Cash In / Cash Out bars and a rolling balance line on the same Y-axis.

7

Variance Analysis

Compares actuals against budget (or prior year as auto-baseline) month-by-month.

  • KPI bar YTD Total Revenue, Total Expenses, Net Income with variance $ and %.
  • Revenue vs Budget chart green bars beat budget, red bars missed. Net margin % line overlaid.
  • Annual Divergence chart horizontal bars ranking P&L sections by total YTD variance.
  • Heat Map P&L sections × months grid; dark green = 60%+ beat, dark red = 60%+ miss.
  • Variance table Actual, Budget, Var ($), Var (%) per month with sparkline trend column.

If no budget is saved, the dashboard uses prior year actuals as the baseline and shows a blue banner indicating this.
